Which is better, M1 – M6 or A1(M) – A1? Google maps is showing drive times about the same @ approx 7 hours. My inclination is for the A1 as I do not have fond memories of the M6 from a couple of years ago (I seem to recall mile after mile of road works and many hold ups) .
Any recent insights would be appreciated.
