Have you ever wondered why our ancestors use to live longer? Would you consider them more robust than people in the 21st century? Natural, organic, fresh, nutritious food can be a suitable answer for the above question as it has a direct impact on our Health. To start with, let’s consider exactly is the meaning of Health. According to WHO 1948 health definition, “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. ” So, the question translates into, are we having healthier food in 21<sup>st</sup> century? Although many believe that the food of the 21st century is healthier than ever, I firmly believe that this food is less nutritious because of the addition of dangerous chemicals in our food supply, the wide availability of fast/instant food, and the mass production of food in low nutritional value makes the 21st-century food less healthy than it seems.
